AMOGH DIVISION REACHES OUT TO YOUTH OF GANGANAGAR


  SHRIGANGANAGARTeam of Army Officers from Amogh Division delivered motivational lectures in various Colleges & University including Khalsa College, Sihag Nursing College, Government College, Karanpur & Tantia University from 21st to 23rd December on the eve of commemoration of battle of Nagi fought between India and Pakistan in 1971 in Sriganganagar sector.  Students as well as professors had gathered in the college auditoriums to attend the motivational lecture, as Major Shashank Deep & Lieutenant Madhav Kumar eloquently spoke about the heroics of the soldiers of the Indian Army.  The event also acted as motivation to youth of Sriganganagar to achieve desired result of projecting Army as a viable career with the theme ‘Indian Army & Nation Building - Be a winner for India’.Each session was well spent for the students who turned up for the event.  The good turnout at each event made it amply clear that the audience were looking forward to these motivational talks. Young eager minds were not disappointed and were made aware of the sacrifices the Indian soldiers made selflessly for their motherland in the battle of Nagi.The youths were introduced to the army way of life and its strong ethos and traditions, which propels a soldier to make supreme sacrifice.  Battle of Nagi left an everlasting impression on the minds of students and would undoubtedly compel them to realise that battle is the most significant competition in which a man indulges and these heroes should be revered forever.this information have been givan to us by Lt Col Manish Ojha Defence Spokesperson,Rajasthan
